For 17 years, Louie had been a part of our lives. We found him as a kitten, abandoned in an empty house, so we gave him a home, and he gave us endless love and affection we will always cherish. We have had other cats, but Louie was always special to us. I would call him my “pet dog” because he would always come to me, when I called for him. We nearly lost Louie to a cancerous tumor in 2002. His amazing recovery made us appreciate him that much more, every single day after that. Sadly, we could not save Louie this time, as old age took its toll, and his kidneys failed. So, this is my video tribute, to my buddy, Louie.
