This is Ahi, a cat with diabetes who was rescued out of the PG County Maryland shelter and is now in foster care. He is a foster cat through the Montgomery County SPCA and his medical expenses are being subsidized in part by the Feline Diabetes Message Board (FDMB) Cats In Need fund (fdmb-cin.blogspot.com which grew out of the feline diabetes message board (www.felinediabetes.com). Ahi is doing well in his foster home and showing signs of possibly being able to have his diabetes controlled by diet alone. He will be available for adoption as soon as he is medically stable.
Raja was diagnosed with Feline Diabetes in February of 08. Thanks to the wonderful people at felinediabetes.com Raja is now in remission.
