Question by Rachel Anderson: At what age should I start training my kitten?
I just got a 7 week old siamese mix. I know it’s young to be getting her at this age but I didn’t know this at the time… Anyway she’s already scratching up the carpet, jumping on tables, and it’s always a hit and miss with using her litter box. Is it too early in her life toteach her “no”? Or use a spray bottle for when she’s bad? I’m afraid she wont understand and start fearing me. Any advice would be helpful!
Answer by Kevin S
its never to early to impose restrictions on your kitty, but like a child remember they are only young once, why not let them run around and enjoy all the new things they see and discover
using a spray bottle is a quick and effective way to tell a kitty “no”
but use it sparingly. kittens can be frightened very easily
