Question by Hana W: Can I use Ampicillin for my kitty?
My kitty is just 2.5months old. A stray feline, it has been dewormed and vaccinated regularly. When there was vomiting and diarrhea for the kitty due to indigestion, we asked the Vet for suggestion. He suggested that we give the kitty 5 drops of Rx Roscillin (Ampicillin For Oral Suspension). After giving 2/3 doses of the medicine, the vomiting and diarrhea stopped. So, everytime the kitty doesn’t eat I give it few drops of Roscillin and it works out – he never skips the next meal. What is actually the medicine for? My kitty hunts in the garden and almost everyday keeps eating insects, cockraoches, lizards etc. So sometimes, it skips food. Even yesterday, he caught hold of a quite a nig lizard. Now, today, he is not eating at all. Shall I give it Roscillin for digestion? Does Roscillin enhance digestion? Roscillin contains Ampicillin Trihydrate IP (Ampicillin).
Please Help! I’m really worried about my cute kitty?

You should keep your kitty in the house so he doesnt eat things that make him sick. He should not be eating bugs, cockroaches, lizards, etc. Thats why he’s throwing up.
