Question by Afnan A: Feline leukemia???????????????????
My cat died on monday because he had feline leukemia, It just seems like I cant get over him because I always had a cat in the house and now I don’t. So I am thinking about getting a new kitten, but I am scared that he will also get the feline leukemia thing. So can I just clean the litter box, and get new food bowels? And please tell me how I can clean the litter box really good so the new kitten wouldn’t get sick. And do I have to throw away the toys or not? And can I wash the cat bed or do I also throw this one away?

There are feline leukemia injections that you go in for once a year.
It may be abit early to get a new kitten yet i would wait a couple more weeks and think about it.
Some people think cos their cat has died they will go get another 1 but some people end up thinking it wasn’t the right thing to do and end up taking it to animal shelters etc…
Give it more time to think about before getting a new cat. Just so u no its going to be the right thing for u.
When your ready go to the animal shelter rescues centres etc. There is so many cats and other animals that need homes. I would throw all the stuff away and get new stuff in for your new kitty.
Hope i have helped u ๐
Take care. So sorry about your cat ๐
