My cat Lola has passed away, due to an intestinal infection and complications of her CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia) condition. After weeks of agonizing uncertainty of whether or not it was the “right time”, and many visits to our wonderful vet, we made the decision on August 20, 2008 to end her suffering. She was 14 months old. We take comfort in knowing that without us, her life would have certainly ended as a kitten in the animal shelter, and that we gave her a good year of love, play, comfort, and companionship. This video was the last footage I have of her, and was taken on about the first of August, before she started to get really sick. We had just found out from our vet that she had gone blind, which explained a lot of the problems she had been having recently. Good luck Lola, we will see you again one day, I’m sure, and you won’t be afflicted any longer with CH, or anything else. You will be whole and healthy and perfect and waiting for us. Until then, goodbye.
