Question by lubulubuya: How do I change the details of my cat’s microchip?
I moved from Germany to the UK with my cat a couple of years ago and got her chipped (in Germany)for her pet passport. I need to update our address, but have no idea how (all I have is the microchip number on her passport. Can anyone please help?

Call the vet that installed it and have him change the data on his computer,No need to operate on the cat.
The chip just has a number on it that refers the computer to your location, that info can be changed w/o having to change the chip.
Unless the vet is unreachable,you wont have to have another put in.
