Question by meghs: how often and how much-cat supplies?
how often do you buy cat food in a month…like a bag of dry food. and how big of a bag

and what about litter?

i know the prices would vary depending on where people live but im just looking for how often and what sizes you buy…

I have an adult Maine Coon cat that I buy food for about every 3 weeks. I buy the smallest bag possible, as to keep the food fresh. I also suppliment his food with chicken broth and raw chicken gizzards for extra protein, as he is a VERY high-energy cat. He has a special wheat/grain-free perscription diet made by Science Diet, as he was neglected and had some problems as a kitten.
Litter I buy as needed, as I use a Littermaid Automatic Litter Box, which wastes much less litter than normal boxes, but I make sure to change out ALL the litter and clean out the box at least once every 2-3 weeks to reduce smell and bacteria.
