Question by Mahsa H: How to change aggresive cat behaviors?
I have a 6 year old persian mix male neutured and 13 year old siamese mix female spayed.
The male has always been more dominant, but lately he has been pushing away, chaing and generally displaying aggresive behavior toward the older female cate we have and its been getting worse. I want to start feeding them seperately because he generally chases her away from both food dishes.
Does anyone have any other suggestions on what I can do to discourage this behavior?

well one way that I have found that is pretty good at controlling that behavior is batting (gently) the male cat over the ear. It works because that is what the “mother” cat does to kittens when they misbehave…
