Question by douglas H: I’m getting an aftermarket cat back exhaust in my 91 prelude. Can i get one without the catylic converter?
There is no emissions test in my state. Can I buy a good performance “cat back” system without the cat. If so, do they make a pipe section to replace the catylic converter?

A catback starts where the catalytic converter ends. This means that most any “catback” exhaust system doesnt include a cat because the system is designed to bolt up to the factory cat. If you don’t wanna run a cat look for something called a “test pipe” it replaces a catalytic converter.
