Question by Jordan ๐: im thinking about adopting a special needs cat. She is FIV positive, can she pass this on to my current cat?
okay so her name is zoey, she has had three different homes so far, and i want to give her a permanent one. She is FIV positive which means that it progresses very slowly, gradually affecting a cats immune system. It is passed through blood transfusions and through serious, penetrating bite wounds. I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to get her, i dont want her to infect my current cat.
thanks for any input, answers or information. i appreciate it.
