Question by gi_scarlet13: Is there any truth that constant shedding is a sign of poor health in cats?
One of my cats seems to shed excessively, but she seems perfectly fine/healthy. Her sister doesn’t shed anywhere near as much. Should I be worried?

It’s not necessarily a sign of poor health, especially is she is an indoor cat. Indoor cats lack seasonal clues and tend to shed year round. You could brush her daily to help keep her from ingesting all of that fluff, though. The cat who doesn’t seem to shed as much may be a more diligent groomer.
