Question by Alessa: Litter box training a kitten. How does it work exactly?
I might be getting a kitten in a few months and I am curious about the litter box training. Some people say that their kitten was already litter trained when they got it. Others say that their kitten is still having accidents. Does it matter if I buy from a good breeder or not? Also, just in case my kitten isn’t litter trained when I get him/her, how do I?

usually, most breeders don’t train kittens on their own. Its the parents that train the offspring kittens. Providing the litter box is mostly the necessity.
But in most cases, if you do adopt a trained kitten all you need to do is place it near a litter box pre-set up (you can put it in your bathroom or somewhere appropriate). It should have no problem realizing where the toilet is after that.
I don’t really know about training cats to use litter boxes. But you can refer to google.
