Question by Tiffany: My adult cat has problems using the litter box?
I have a cat that is about 9 years old. She goes to the litter box when she wants to. At night, she always leaves a mess. It makes no difference if the box is cleaned or not. She is fixed if that helps at all. I do have another cat, they have been together for almost a year. Does anyone have any suggestions?

sounds like she may have an incontinence issue. you should check with your vet to see if meds are needed and you can also provide more cat boxes in the areas she sleeps at night.
