Question by gracie: My cat has sticky stuff on her paws from a mouse trap. What will safely remove it?
My cat found a sticky pad trap and played with it. The sticky goo is all over her paws and on my carpet. I want to remove it with something safe that will work. So far I haven’t had any luck with anything. Soap and water are useless here.

I don’t know about the carpet but have you tried nail polish remover on your cat’s paw?
No, I’m not kidding. Nail polish remover is great for getting glue off things. Try it on your cat’s paw. Just don’t let her lick it. When you’re done, wash her paw with soap and water and get the remover off so she doesn’t lick it.
I wouldn’t try the nail polish remover on the carpet. It might remove some of the colour out of your carpet.
