Hi and welcome to my kennel. I place puppies in homes all over the world and many people have asked me to do a video tour of my kennel. As you’ll see, my kennel is mostly made up of huge yards where my dogs are free to run and play with buddies. They have bigger back yards than a lot of house dogs do. My whelping house has indoor/outdoor access via dog doors. The whelping house has internet cameras so I can check on my dogs anytime from anywhere. It also has automatic waters, heat/ac and excellent ventilation. It is complete with a grooming station, a bath tub raised to my level and of course, hot water! Each dog has a private room inside to raise their puppies and outdoor runs to use the bathroom. Most moms don’t spend much time away from their puppies but when the puppies are older, moms get access to the yard while we’re cleaning. This 5 minute video shows some of the dogs and all of my yards on a very warm day in June.

A quick demo of the professional dog bathing system by Davis Manufacturing, and how I have it hooked up in my shop. This unit needs no electrical hook up and runs on the water pressure alone. The company does sell a hardware kit that goes with it for different set-ups, but we just used water line and valves that we purchased at Lowes. I use a steel torch style sprayer instead of a traditional hose sprayer; traditional sprayers have to be constantly squeezed, causing hand-strain. I use it with the Davis Gold ultra concentrated shampoo and 1 gallon lasts forever. One gallon makes up to 110 gallons when mixed by hand, so that gives you an idea of how long it lasts in the bathing system. I add one bottle of peppermint extract to the shampoo for fragrance. (This video is just a quick demo and does not show a complete and thorough bath – too hard to film and bathe with one hand)
