Question by Dani Rose: One of my cats is pregnant. Will the others kill her kittens?
I have four females, one of which is pregnant. They all live in the same room, and when I try to move the pregnant cat out so she can be away from the others, she won’t stop meowing. When she has the kittens, is there a chance that the other cats will kill the kittens?

Other female cats are MUCH less likely to kill others’ kittens, it can happen though. What is more likely to happen is that they attatch to the kittens and become like second mom to them. Cats that live in colonies in the woods and such actually nurse each others babies. Unless they start showing signs of aggresion I wouldnt worry about it too much, the pregnant one probably just wants to be with her buddies 🙂
