Question by kittyhawk99200: How bad is meat by-products for cats?
I know by-products are leftover parts of animals that belong in the trash, but what are the adverse affects of it when fed to a cat everyday? Is it similar to eating junk food for us? Thank you.

lol, I’m not a nutritionist!
But seriously how good can things like powdered beak and anus be? They probably have a bit more nutritional value than cardboard but is it what you would choose to feed your cat?
Meat by-products sounds so healthy and innocuous but it all the things that can’t be used in any other industry boiled and extracted to within an inch of its edible value and deemed fit for pet consumption.
Still cheaper than landfill I suppose.
There was even a rumor at one stage that road kill, including pets, were also added to this category.
