Q&A: Should I get a cat tree with only one cat?

I have a 10 month old cat who is extremely playful and she loves to climb. The other day she climbed up my headboard. Lately she has been climbing up my nice chairs. We are in a bit of a pinch for money and I don’t know if I should get a cat tree with only one cat. (also, she has two scratching posts, vertical and horizontal, but she don’t really use them)

My sister had 1 cat and she got it a cat tree. But just get a small one, the size for her. Small ones will cost less and will be perfect since you only have one cat. But if you’re planning on getting a second cat you should maybe get a bigger one before you get the small one.
