This is my favorite kitten so far… mainly because I am positive he uses the litter box! But I haven’t found them using it anywhere else. He also likes to snuggle on my shoulder next to my cheek, which is very endearing. We’ve just started fostering kittens with the Humane Society. They give you kittens that are underweight or have mild problems such as a cold, and you take care of them for 2 weeks or more and then bring them back. Every kitten that gets fostered has a great chance at being adopted. When the humane society is at capacity, these kittens tend to just be euthanized if there is no one to foster them. It’s also like a kitten exchange program… great for anyone who ever complained that kittens eventually turn into cats! Although my adult cat is the greatest (but he isn’t as pleased as I am about the HS kitten foster program.) Call your local humane society and inquire if you’d like to get involved! I know our Humane Society doesn’t have nearly enough volunteers for fostering and that programs everywhere are looking for help.
