Question by PopTart: What should i expect? Kitten health trouble?
an outside feral cat had its kittens underneath our porch and i have been monitoring the kittens often. when 3 died i decided to aid the kittens. i have one left now, the others i didn’t get to in time. it is about a 5 weeks old. and its eating schedule was pretty hefty at first, but it started slowing down. now its eating way less than it should be intaking to survive. it is breathing heavily, and i have it on a heating pad. what should i expect? is it going to be okay?

It might have an upper respiratory problem, or pneumonia. You may want to take it to the vet to get it treated. One reason cats may not eat is because they can’t smell the food, what they can’t smell, they refuse to eat.
