Question by Michelle: Which type of dog collar is safer for the dog?
My dog’s collar goes around her neck, like most, and that’s also where I attach the leash. But when a dog walks by or any other time I’ve got to pull her back it starts to choke her and she coughs a little afterward. I asked a worker at my local pet shop if the body harness is safer and they said it could cause rib problems.
Is this true? Because I really hate pulling my dog back by the neck, but at the same time I don’t want to harm her body.

now days hun u can get mouth harnesses which dont chike the dog when you pull on the leash, there your best bet if you dont want your dog to choke.
